Successful première in Karlsruhe
It was with great success that Karlsruher Messe- und Kongress-GmbH conducted the first NUFAM in Karlsruhe in March 2009 - THE commercial vehicle trade fair in southern Germany: This première at the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Center was attended by 194 exhibitors from seven countries and 12,300 visitors.
Working closely with the exhibitors, the trade fair organisers succeeded in getting NUFAM off the ground within a brief period of time and despite a difficult economic climate.
Karlsruhe is an ideal meeting point for manufacturers, dealers, buyers and users of commercial vehicles - thanks to a strong automotive industry, several important southern German production locations for commercial vehicles and the convenient geographical position of Karlsruhe as a technology region with motorways that make it the hub of all European east-west and north-south routes.
This initial success now forms the basis for the second NUFAM which will be run by Karlsruher Messe- und Kongress-GmbH from 14 to 17 April 2011.
As before, NUFAM will be true to its ambition in bringing together the decision makers of the industry. As well as covering traditional product ranges in the commercial vehicle sector, such as commercial vehicles, trailers, semi-trailers, tyres and accessories, the trade fair will also cover areas such as telematics, repair shop equipment, load securing systems, cranes, hoists and lifting devices, to name but a few.
