State Minister for Transport Nicole Razavi takes on patronage of NUFAM 2027

Since its first edition in 2009, NUFAM, organised by Messe Karlsruhe, has developed into one of the most important commercial vehicle trade fairs. State Minister for Transport Nicole Razavi has taken on the patronage of the upcoming 2027 edition.

Four days, more than 430 manufacturers and service providers from 23 countries, plus all the major brands in the sector – since its first edition in 2009, NUFAM at the Karlsruhe Exhibition Centre has developed into one of the most important commercial vehicle trade fairs in Germany and Europe.

Next year, the trade fair for heavy and light commercial vehicles, vans, workshop equipment, software solutions, AI applications and more will take place for the tenth time.

The importance of NUFAM is also underlined by support from the political sphere. Nicole Razavi, who has been Minister for Transport of the State of Baden-Württemberg since 2026, has taken on the patronage of next year’s event.

“A firm foothold in the industry”

Beate Frères, divisional manager at Messe Karlsruhe, is delighted with this development and says: “The fact that we have once again succeeded in securing the state’s patronage for NUFAM shows that the commercial vehicle trade fair has established a firm foothold in the industry. The commercial vehicle sector in Germany and Europe continues to face major challenges. In addition to reducing CO₂ emissions, the number of manufacturers in the lorry sector is set to increase significantly next year. NUFAM will then reflect the current state of the industry and showcase what will be possible in the future.”

The next – and tenth – edition of NUFAM will take place from 22 to 25 September 2027 across the entire Karlsruhe Exhibition Centre site.
