NUFAM 2025: the commercial vehicle trade fair for truckers

Anyone who comes to NUFAM knows that there is something for everyone here. In addition to trade visitors, truckers and their families in particular get their money's worth.
Those looking for training opportunities will find what they are looking for at the special exhibition on training organised by the Central Association of Bodywork and Vehicle Technology. Throughout NUFAM, interested parties can find out from the association which areas of the industry they can train in, what requirements must be met and what career opportunities are available.
The Truck Driver Forum is all about the concerns of drivers. The discussion rounds will be moderated by Thomas Rosenberger.
Visitors can experience how rescue workers work hand in hand in exceptional situations at the rescue chain. On the Sunday of the fair, a serious accident and the associated rescue and recovery measures will be demonstrated up close.
Those who come to NUFAM want to see one thing above all else: large machines in action. This happens in the Demo Park on the brand-new outdoor grounds, the Peter Gross Bau Areal. Exhibitors showcase their vehicles live and in colour there.
Traditionally, drivers compete for the title of best truck driver in the NUFAM Challenge. Interested parties can apply in advance and try to make it into the top eight. They will be invited to NUFAM, receive the VIP package including free accommodation, and have the chance to win the main prize worth 1,500 euros. Most people know Christina Scheib from television or social media. Anyone who wants to see the truck driver and her truck live can come to NUFAM on 27 September. She will be a guest on the NUFAM commercial vehicle podcast, hosted by Marcus Walter and Florian Klag. The three will talk about women in the industry and other topics. Afterwards, Scheib will be available for autographs. The episode, recorded at 3:30 p.m., will then be permanently available as a podcast episode.
Many truckers are also fans of American football. For this reason, NUFAM has launched ‘Truck and Talk – American Football Edition.’ The talk will be hosted by Carsten Spengemann and Mike Stiefelhagen on 28 September.
After a two-year hiatus, the Unimog course is back at NUFAM. Interested visitors will have the opportunity to ride along and experience the enormous inclines that the Unimog can overcome. And for the little ones, there is also the children's Unimog course.
This is part of the NUFAM Action Zone, which also includes goal wall shooting, the DEKRA truck simulator, beer crate stacking and other attractions. The programme at the Karlsruhe commercial vehicle trade fair is rounded off by the truck model exchange, the rollover simulator and the seat belt sled at BG Verkehr in Hall 3.
