Valuable content, presented in an understandable way: the Telematics and Charging@NUFAM forums
NUFAM is a must for anyone interested in telematics and charging infrastructure. This year, visitors can once again look forward to a highly informative specialist programme.
Marcus Walter has been a trade journalist for many years, has been hosting the NUFAM commercial vehicle podcast for a year and is responsible for the NUFAM trade forums. This year, he has once again put together a programme for visitors that is both informative and entertaining.
Telematics
The topic of telematics will be the focus of the specialist forum on Thursday and Friday, 25 and 26 September. After Walter's opening at 11 a.m., the programme will continue at 11.05 a.m. with a presentation on "Stressed by vehicle shortages and rental bureaucracy? FLEETLOOP redefines commercial vehicle rental – flexible, available, paperless." Throughout the day, attendees can expect presentations on how to manage fleets more efficiently, how to reduce CO2 consumption and thus costs, and how to acquire subsidies. Each presentation lasts 15 minutes, with the last one starting at 1:45 p.m.
On Friday, topics such as ‘Modern risk assessment in fleet management,’ ‘Digital maintenance: increasing safety, reducing costs, securing the future,’ and ‘SUMS Service Suite – ZF simplifies secure software updates for trailer manufacturers in accordance with legal requirements’ are on the agenda.
Charging@NUFAM
Saturday, 27 September, will be dedicated to Charging@NUFAM. The expert forum will then focus on the topic of charging infrastructure. After Walter's welcome at 10:30 a.m., the 15-minute presentations will begin. Visitors can expect topics such as ‘Charging on the go. How vehicle solar modules make transport greener and more efficient’ and ‘Electrification of the vehicle fleet – from application analysis to infrastructure concept.’ The last presentation of the day will begin at 1 p.m.
The complete programme for both expert forums can be found on the NUFAM website HERE. Registration is not required. The forums are located in Hall 3 of the Karlsruhe Exhibition Centre.
